Turning Two: A New Chapter Begins
New Year, New Chapter. 🥂
Two years. It’s hard to believe we’ve been on this journey together for that long.
I know I’ve been quiet lately.
My inbox has been full of your kind check-ins, asking where I’ve been throughout December. First, thank you for caring—it means the world to know you missed my voice here.
The truth is, I haven't been 'away' as much as I've been 'inward.' I spent the final month of the year pouring every bit of silence and reflection into something new.
As we approach the 2nd anniversary of this blog, I’m finally ready to share what I’ve been working on. This year, I am releasing my new poem collection:
the innuendos of a lonely hearted man.
Thank you for being the best readers a writer could ask for.
Let’s make this third year the most poetic one yet!
Details on the release date coming very soon.
Thank you for waiting for me. 🤍🍷
with love,

ReplyDeleteThere is so much weight in those words already. I have a feeling this collection is going to destroy me in the best way possible. Welcome back.
I was just wondering about you the other day! Taking time to go inward is the most important work a writer can do. Thank you for trusting us with the result of that silence. Ready when you are. 🍷

ReplyDeleteHappy 2nd Anniversary! 🥂
ReplyDeleteThere are very few blogs I actually keep up with these days, but yours is non-negotiable. Thank you for keeping the art of blogging alive.
The poem from last summer about 'midnight thoughts' has stayed with me. You have a way of putting words to feelings I can't explain. Ready for the new chapter, estefaaano_writes. 🍷
ReplyDeleteThe internet is so loud, but your blog is always the quiet corner I go to for peace. ‘The innuendos of a lonely hearted man’ sounds like exactly the kind of reading I need right now.
ReplyDeleteMy browser tab is already open and waiting. 💻✨ There is something so intimate about reading your work on the blog—it feels like a secret conversation. Can’t wait.
ReplyDeleteThat one piece you wrote about 'waiting' a few months back... I still have it bookmarked. It gets me through the hard days. So excited to see what this new collection holds.
ReplyDeleteThe title alone is poetry. 🥀 counting down the days.
ReplyDeleteInward is the best place to be. Creative hibernation always yields the best work. Can't wait to read the new collection on the site, my friend. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteI’m not going to lie, I’ve checked the site a few times this month hoping for a new post. I’m so glad you’re okay and that you were just creating. That inward time is so necessary. Can't wait to see what you've found in the silence.
ReplyDeletethe innuendos of a lonely hearted man’... man, that hits close to home already. Sometimes the things we don't say are the loudest. Welcome back, we’ve missed your perspective around here.
ReplyDeleteIt’s funny how you can miss someone you’ve never actually met. Your writing just has that effect. Really looking forward to this collection, estefaaano_writes.
ReplyDeleteTwo years already? I remember reading your very first post. Watching your voice evolve has been such a gift. Here’s to many more. 🥂
ReplyDeleteJust glad to see a post from you today. My feed felt a little empty without your poetry.
ReplyDeleteI feel like I’ve grown up a little bit alongside this blog over the last two years. Thanks for being a constant in a very chaotic world. Can’t wait for the release!
ReplyDeleteThe way you write about loneliness makes it feel a little less... lonely. If that makes sense. Really looking forward to this one.
ReplyDeleteDefinitely the poem about the rainy Tuesday last autumn. It captured a specific kind of melancholy I’d never seen put into words before.
ReplyDeleteThe poem you wrote for your 1st anniversary is still my favorite. It felt like a promise to us as readers.
ReplyDeleteI think we all felt that 'inward' energy this December. Glad to see you’re coming out of the other side with something to show for it.
ReplyDeleteThe innuendos of a lonely hearted man’... why do I feel like you’ve been reading my diary? lol. Can’t wait for this.
ReplyDeleteWriting can be so draining, so please don't apologize for being quiet. We’re just happy you’re back and still creating.
ReplyDeleteFinally! The notification I’ve been waiting for.
ReplyDeleteReady to be emotionally destroyed by your words again haha.
ReplyDeleteMy heart is ready (I think). 🥀
DeleteI’ve been here since month three and seeing how your style has shifted is incredible. This new collection sounds like your most mature work yet.
ReplyDeleteIs it weird that I feel proud of you? Two years is a long time to stay consistent with a blog. Congrats on the milestone!
ReplyDeleteCounting down the days! Drop the link soon please!!
ReplyDeleteI’m intrigued by the word 'innuendos' here—it suggests so much is being left unsaid. Perfect for a poem collection.
ReplyDelete"made of paper" is so goated bro
ReplyDeleteTo be honest, The Oak and the Swallow is etched deep into my heart.
ReplyDeleteI can't remember the title, but the one where you talked about 'silence being a language'—that changed how I look at my own solitude.
ReplyDeleteTwo years of this blog and I still feel like every post is written specifically for me.
ReplyDeleteIt’s rare to find a writer who actually feels human and not just like an algorithm. This update made my day.
ReplyDeleteI’ve shared so many of your links with my sister. We’re both going to be hovering over the refresh button for this release.
ReplyDeleteYour blog is like a digital sanctuary. Thank you for keeping it going for two years.
ReplyDeleteThe internet felt a little noisier without your quiet reflections this month. Welcome home.
ReplyDeleteThe poem about 'the coffee getting cold' is the one I send to everyone I know.
ReplyDelete2 years!! What a ride.
ReplyDeleteI love you since storms and sunsets. ❤️
omg! I love that collection so much tooooo
DeleteCan we get a hint on the release date?? 🤞
ReplyDeleteI don't know about y'all, but I’ll be refreshing the blog every day until the release date is announced hahaha
DeleteI feel like this new collection is going to call me out in ways I’m not ready for lol.
ReplyDeleteThe title feels very noir, very moody. I love it.
ReplyDeleteCheers to two years of vulnerability and art.
ReplyDeleteI’ve missed the way your words make me slow down and actually breathe.
ReplyDeleteThere’s a specific kind of bravery in being a 'lonely hearted man' in a world that tells men to be loud and stoic.
ReplyDeleteLoneliness is such a universal thing, but we rarely talk about the 'innuendos' of it. I’m fascinated by this direction.
ReplyDeleteYour writing is like a lighthouse for people who feel a bit lost at sea. Glad you're back
ReplyDeleteI’m already imagining reading these on a rainy night with the window cracked open.
ReplyDeleteTHE KING IS BACK. 🍷
ReplyDeleteestefaaano_writes never misses. Period.
ReplyDeleteLonely hearted man’... estefaaano_writes, please, I wasn’t ready to be attacked today!😂
ReplyDeleteMe: I’m doing fine.
ReplyDeleteEstefaaano_writes: Posts a new poem collection title. Me: Okay, I’m actually emotional.
It’s not just about the poems, it’s about this community you’ve built. Happy anniversary everyone!
ReplyDeleteLet's make this the biggest release yet! Spread the word! 🍷
ReplyDeleteReading the comments here is almost as beautiful as the poetry itself. Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteCan we get a sneak peek? Just a couple of lines? Please? 🥺
ReplyDeleteIs it release day yet? How about now? lol.
ReplyDeleteI’ve been reading for two years and never commented until now. Your words mean more to me than I can put into a comment box. Welcome back.
ReplyDeleteBeen following since the midshaft leg fracture post back in the day—it’s amazing to see how much your writing has evolved since then! Still here, still reading.
ReplyDeleteI’ve had your blog bookmarked since 2024. Glad to see you’re still pouring your heart out.
ReplyDeleteThe choice of 'innuendos' is so sharp. It suggests that loneliness isn't just a feeling, but a series of subtle signals we send to the world.
ReplyDeleteChecking in from Italy! Your words travel further than you think.
ReplyDeleteestefaaano_writes, your use of negative space in your writing is what sets you apart. The things you don't say are just as powerful.
ReplyDeleteI loved your writing on the 'deformity of grief.' It was such a unique way to describe a broken heart.
ReplyDeleteThe innuendos of a lonely hearted man... the title of the year. 🥀
ReplyDeleteHappy 2 Years! I feel like we’ve all survived so much together in this comment section.
ReplyDeleteI’ve watched this blog grow from a tiny project to this beautiful community. Congrats, Estefaaano!
ReplyDeleteYour silence in December actually gave me permission to be quiet too. I appreciate that more than you know.
ReplyDeleteThe title! 🤯
ReplyDeleteI’m so ready to see what you’ve been working on. Welcome back to the light.
ReplyDeleteWe stayed, we waited, and we are READY. 🍷
ReplyDeleteRefreshing the page already... lol.
ReplyDeleteSending so much love for this new chapter!
ReplyDeleteDid the 'inward' month change your writing style at all? You seem even more intentional now.
ReplyDeleteI’ve gone through three different jobs and two cities in the time I’ve been reading this blog. You’ve been the one constant.
ReplyDeleteI’m raising a glass of red to you tonight! 🍷 Here’s to many more years of beautiful words.
ReplyDeleteYour 2nd year was incredible, but I have a feeling Year 3 is going to be the one that changes everything.
ReplyDeleteSending this to my book club. We might not have a physical book, but we can definitely discuss these poems.
ReplyDeleteQuality > Quantity. Always.
ReplyDeleteI've been feeling so disconnected lately, and your voice is the first thing that’s made me feel grounded again
ReplyDeleteI’m not a 'poetry person' but I am an 'Estefaaano person.' You just make it make sense.
ReplyDeleteReady for the new chapter! 📖
ReplyDeleteThis is going to be a classic. I'm calling it now.
