BETWEEN BREATHS

ცetween ცreaths

-estefaaano_writes

-

Scattered pieces of consciousness,

They drift like gossamer threads,

between heartbeats and breaths—

Listen.

Feel the ground beneath your feet,

The rhythm of your heartbeat,

The gentle rise and fall of your chest.

Here—

Right here—

Where silence speaks,

And stillness moves.

Breathe into the spaces,

Between thoughts,

Between storms,

Between worlds.

Breathe.

Be.

Now.

Listen to the silence between words,

Where pure consciousness awakens.

Your mind—

An infinite ocean,

Waves rising, falling,

Each wave perfect,

Each wave complete,

Each wave—

Just this.

Your mind is not a battlefield,

But a vast open sky,

Where thoughts are passing clouds,

Witnessed, but not captured.

No judgement,

No grasping,

Just pure witnessing.

Feel the tender membrane,

Between what is,

And what could be.

You are not the story you tell,

Not the wounds you carry.

You are not the wave,

You are the ocean.

let go

ANOTHER MASTERPIECE FROM THE BARD HIMSELF!

When I read "Listen" at the beginning, it felt like someone was whispering directly to me - not lecturing, but genuinely inviting me to just... be. And those lines about feeling your heartbeat, the rise and fall of your chest? Man, that's real. That's what it actually feels like when you're trying to ground yourself.

  5. The part about "You are not the story you tell" - holy sh*t. That's the kind of line that makes you stop and just... breathe.

SHOULD WE EXPECT A POEM COLLECTION OR SOMETHING?

And "let go" at the end? Simple. Powerful. No fancy spiritual jargon. Just two words that carry a whole universe of meaning.

This isn't some detached, spiritual manual. This is a friend sitting next to you, reminding you that you're okay. Exactly as you are. Right now.

  11. Okay, so here's the thing.
This poem feels like it came from someone who's actually been through some stuff.

It's not some Instagram-perfect meditation quote.

    It's raw. Real.

Those lines about "Between storms, / Between worlds"

That's some next-level understanding right there.
It's saying life isn't about avoiding the chaos, it's about finding those tiny moments of peace IN the chaos.

Like, you're not trying to escape your life, you're learning to breathe inside of it.

And can we talk about "Your mind is not a battlefield"?
    That's revolutionary.

      Right??????
Like most of us walk around treating our inner world like it's some kind of war zone that needs constant defending.

But here comes estefaaano_writes saying - nah. It's just a sky. Thoughts are just clouds. They move. They change. They don't define you.

Honestly,, a very brilliant piece. A must read.

    Grabe ang talinoooo!
Even the poem felt like breathing.
    The rhythm felt like breathing.
    Short lines. White space. Pauses.

It's like the poem is teaching you how to breathe just by existing on the page.

    How wild is that?

  15. "You are the ocean" - not just words. That's a whole mood.
    A whole philosophy.
You're saying you're bigger than your current experience.
    Deeper. More expansive.

The line "Feel the ground beneath your feet" is particularly powerful. It's such a visceral invitation to presence, pulling us out of the spinning narratives in our head and anchoring us to the immediate, physical experience of being alive. It's a reminder that mindfulness isn't about transcending our human experience, but deeply inhabiting it.

My take: We're not trying to stop the waves. We're learning to ride them. Some waves are gonna be big and scary. Some will be smooth. And estefaaano_writes is saying.. YOU are the entire ocean. Not just one wave. Not just one moment of turbulence.

It's like the poem is saying:
Hey. You're human. It's messy. And that's completely okay. Thanks estefaaano_writes!
