Staying only made me get real good at pretending.

I hope you remember all the pieces of who you were, 

That you lost along the way.

I hope you love yourself like you loved me then,

I hope you never abandon yourself again.

Hard to say the ghost of us is just hanging around.

I guess love isn't what I thought it was,

Blinded by the hope we got. 

Maybe we were never meant to be together. 

One day I'll just be a memory, and then you'll be better.
