DEAR LOVER,

dear lover,
by: estefaaano_writes

-

Sunshine paints your freckled nose,

A symphony in summer's glow.

Laughter dances on your toes,

Leaving whispers where they go.

Brown depths, a lighthouse warm and kind,

Unleash a beauty that binds my mind.

Shy glances flit, like whispers sweet,

Hearts drum a silent, rhythmic beat.

Sunbeams pirouette, ignite your gaze,

Golden glimmers where devotion plays.

Sun-speckled skin where my lips gently graze,

A heaven unfolds in your smile's rays.

Sun's rapture on golden sands,

A welcoming canvas, nature's hands

Our fingers lace, a murmured spell,

As hopes on salty zephyrs swell.

Vows uttered gently for just us two,

But darkness stirs where doubts brew.

The rolling waves sing soft and low,

Of dreams rising with the ebb and flow.

Two souls twined on the ageless shore,

Discover wonder forevermore.

Though distant, with each pulse we meet,

Of this untamed heart, its home to greet.

No shining jewel or gilded line,

Can match the radiance when your hand holds mine.

May this tender flame never wane,

A timeless ember, etched in our name.

Dear lover,

Hand in hand we tread,

Through verdant fields and skies overhead.

May this gentle fire always burn,

Eternal in youth, ardent in turn.

Not towering high nor fathoms above,

But simple and true as the beat of a dove.

Through the storms and the stillness we’ll stay,

And walk side by side each new day.

No soaring song nor sonnet so grand,

Can capture the touch of your weathered hand.

For plainspoken love turns the wheels of the world,

More than flowery phrases when banners unfurled.

So let us amble through good times and bad,

The only true things are the moments we had.

Be it ages or just one stolen day,

Each moment shines when I walk your way.

Though all fades, this I know always will reign true -

Once two souls meet, love ever starts anew.
